Editorial design, information design, branding

Hi, I’m Jasmine, a confident and driven graphic designer with a keen interest in editorial design, information design, and branding. I am quick learner who is always seeking to develop key skills and relationships with clients. I enjoy creating imaginative solutions, with my passion for typography and detail driving this. Throughout my time at university, I have been able to build valuable skills including excellent communication, project management, organisation, teamwork, problem-solving, as well as knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma. With existing experience working with clients, I have been able to create innovative and precise designs that are able to effectively communicate. With my work ethic and open-mindedness, I am willing to take on any challenge.

The Robins Newspaper

The Robins is Swindon Town Football Club's own newspaper. The publication was created with the aim of spreading news about the club and community surrounding it. It includes short-reads about club news and signings, long-reads about what the club does for the community, listings about the day’s match, and infographics for the previous match stats. I had to take into consideration both micro-typographic and macro-typographic elements, as well as handling imagery. The complex grid I created aided me with these challenges, resulting in an effective and coherent design.

Buddy Web app

Buddy is a web app that allows you to keep track of all aspects of your dog’s health under one roof. This website is an organised way in monitoring exercise, diet, vaccinations, treatments and vet visits so nothing is ever missed. The bright colours create excitement and motivation for dog owners to get their dog’s health in check. The web app offers personalised meal and exercise plans, as well as the opportunity to connect both the user and their dogs to others in the community. This was all made possible due to thorough research including competitor analysis, user interviews, user personas, user journeys, page flows, sitemaps, and multiple rounds of usability testing throughout the design process.

Two Halves magazine

Two Halves is a magazine that is about all things women’s football. We aren’t your normal football magazine that focusses on matches and who has scored the most goals this season. We look deeply into the game that is women’s football. The reason we say it’s a different game is because a lot of the time, it is treated like one. We are working together to ensure the stigma is broken and people learn to love women’s football as much as men’s. The magazine creates a sense of belonging and allows women to open up about experiences in a safe place where they will be respected by all. The magazine comprises of two halves, the home side and away side, which can be read from opposite sides of the magazine. This adds a quality to the magazine that is unique so will stand out to consumers.
